Susan brings a wealth of expertise in hospice, home care and oncology to those we care for. With degrees in nursing and business administration, Susan draws on her experiences including accounting, oncology nursing, clinical management and team leadership. She’s active with nursing professional associations and is an award winner for her volunteer medical outreach commitment. “My role in establishing these community based services from Homeland, is one of the most rewarding of my professional career,” adds Minarik.

Lora Bierce, RNLora Bierce, RN

Lora has been a registered nurse for 32 years, with nearly 23 being in home health. Her career path has included quality assurance work focusing on documentation, insurance authorization and meeting regulations. She has overseen performance improvement and served as a clinical manager, managing home health aide staff, intake staff, and team of 18 nurses providing home health care to patients in the surrounding counties. “Designing our services to help people stay in their homes with quality care is my true passion.”

Debra has been a RN for 27 years with 23 years in home health. In 1993, she made the move to community nursing. “I discovered my passion in nursing is assisting individuals stay in their home environment while recovering from an illness or as they age.”  Debra has had the opportunity to have  many roles in home health, including orientation of new staff, mentoring, education and OASIS training. Since 2012, Debra has managed a team of staff caring for high acuity Cardiac/Respiratory patients with a focus on quality care, telehealth and decreasing re-hospitalizations.
